Opportunity to join rapidly growing leading national energy organisation.
The successful candidate will become the technical authority for the operational side of company's technology organisation — building the engineering function, owning the technical product knowledge, and acting as a deputy to the CTO on technical support.
Own the technical delivery, resolution quality, and engineering capability of company's support function across all tiers — from technical escalations and pre sales technical support through to complex on-site specialist work. Hold the technical relationship with the manufacturers and OEMs whose hardware and software sits in the fleet. Partner with the Customer Service Manager to deliver against internal and external SLA commitments and build the technical organisation that supports continued growth.
Relevant third level degree with 5 plus years of progressive experience in technical Support, field service management, or engineering team leadership — ideally within EV charging, energy infrastructure, telecoms, or comparable critical infrastructure.
Working knowledge of OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) and experience operating against a Charging Station Management System (CSMS).
Demonstrable track record of managing field service teams against contractual SLAs, including reporting, root-cause analysis, and breach response.
Experience leading OEM and vendor relationships — warranty management, escalation pathways, and contract performance.
