Opportunity to join expanding commercial semi-state organisation.
Set out the sustainability (Environmental and Energy) strategy towards the org. achieving its Net-Zero ambition by 2050 as set out in their Masterplan 2050
Produce monthly progress reports on delegated corporate strategic goals and commitments on sustainability related matters.
Engage proactively at scheduled meetings (typically fortnightly) with Engineering team (typically monthly), produce agenda, collate meeting minutes, produce action lists, and track progress.
Produce reports/tender addendums for proposed works projects, in support of internal approvals from/present to the org.’s executive management team/Board.
Be the lead point of contact for the org. on sustainability related matters.
Lead teams in developing initiatives and delivering projects towards delivering on the org.’s Net-zero ambitions as set out in the Ports’ Masterplan 2050
Relevant L8 degree, highly motivated and have a strong ambition to play an exemplar role in leading sustainability (Environment & Energy) for the org. towards achieving its strategic goals and climate action targets.
Demonstrate and portray extensive management and systems experience in Energy and Environment
Possess and demonstrate a high technical competency.
Have the ability to collaborate in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the function to within the agreed budget.
