Gas Utility.
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Health & Safety elements of the overall Integrated Management System (IMS) and monitoring organisation and its contractors’ compliance against organizational and legal requirements.
Act as the central point of contract for day-to-day support and provision of Health and Safety information to company staff and stakeholders.
The role requires a proactive approach to Health and Safety, encouraging and coaching the wider organisation whilst promoting a positive safety culture.
Requires oversight of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man regions and as such requires periodic travel.
A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in a professional safety environment.
Formal, recognized professional health and safety qualification.
Detailed knowledge of relevant safety legislation and ability to interpret and translate such information into business policy and procedures.
Working knowledge of HSE management systems, aspects and controls.
