Operations Manager

Location: Cork Role: Permanent


Excellent opportunity for an Operations/Production Manager to join an expanding Indigenous Nutraceutical Company in Cork. This is a newly created position to support the continuing growth within the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop this role as the organisation continues to grow. Reporting to the Company Directors, the Operations Manager will enjoy overall responsibility for production, maintenance and associated staff to ensure key business objectives are met the company . They include productivity,labour efficiency, product quality, health and safety , budget control and customer satisfaction.


Responsible for daily and weekly production scheduling, daily production meetings and ensuring customer expectations are met with regard to order lead times
Lead and support the production team to achieve manufacturing targets and delivery of orders to customers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant in areas of Production, Safety, Cost
Work in conjunction with Quality to ensure Product Quality and compliance with the Quality system at all times.
Ensure that all the production documentation is completed in accordance with Quality Standards
Collaborate in internal and external audits.(GMP)
Elaboration of new operation procedures or changing and improving existing ones.
Supporting Department of Agriculture compliance with Quality
Monitoring and controlling costs within agreed budget.
Ensuring the safe working practices and conduct of the team and contractors.


7/8 years’ experience in a management capacity in a fast paced manufacturing environment
