Field Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Galway Role: Permanent

Details:

Opportunity to join leading energy organisation covering Connaught regions. Hybrid working (2@office,3@home) working a 35-hour week
Responsible for managing all planned, reactive, corrective and emergent C&I operational activities on the Network in the West region.
Delivery of all C&I operational activities planned, corrective, reactive and emergent across the Network.
Managing the delivery of all planned, reactive, corrective and emergent activities relating to electrical maintenance and corrosion protection (CP) work programs.
Providing flexibility to work across regions as required to address operational needs as they arise.
Contributing to the maintenance and operation of the Distribution and Transmission SCADA/DCS

Experience

Engineering degree or other relevant qualification with minimum of 4 years industrial experience or related technical environment experience.
Knowledge of hazardous areas with ATEX certified equipment.
Knowledge of operating and maintaining SCADA / Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
Proven track record in the area of field operations/maintenance.
Proven track record providing exemplary customer service.
