Details:

Opportunity to work with leading designer and manufacturer of high reliability electronic motor control solutions.
Design & development of hardware (analog, digital and power electronics) for range of servo-drive products whilst ensuring that the products meet performance specifications, cost & reliability targets, comply with regulatory standards and are designed for manufacture & test (DFM &DFT)
Involved in all aspects of the hardware life cycle i.e. requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration and testing as part of a multi-site development team.
You will participate in design reviews and business reviews as required.
You will be expected to support a reasonable level of travel including on-site customer support.

Experience

Relevant third level degree electronics or related. with knowledge of the operation and control of permanent magnet synchronous motors.
Knowledge of power conversion principles, topologies and technologies, and thermal management
Capability and experience in VHDL language.
Experience of hard real-time embedded system developments to defined project schedules.
Knowledge of electronic devices and FPGA communication with electronic devices (e.g. A/D, D/A, optical encoders).
