The Technical Operations Manager within Engineering is responsible for the leadership and management of the technical operations team onsite. This involves the planning, design, construction, technical services, operations and maintenance of production equipment onsite. He/she is responsible for technical direction, leadership, guidance and support for a specific array of systems within an area of responsibility, such as Aseptic Manufacturing Processes, CIP/SIP, Clean Utilities, HVAC, Packaging, and Instrumentation. Through their team of site technical subject matter experts, the Technical Operations manager will leverage engineering expertise both in the company and industry to optimize the life cycle management of all assets, from planning through disposal, and is accountable for performance of all equipment onsite.
The candidate will have knowledge and proficiency in the use of statistical analysis tools, continuous improvement methodologies, problem solving and applied engineering relating to systems and equipment and associated automation systems.
The candidate will have a strong chemistry background with experience in new product introductions.
PHD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent course.
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
Significant engineering experience in a site and/or corporate engineering environment, with specific specialized expert
