Customer Service Manager

Location: Cork Role: Permanent


Customer services manager required to manage an internal sales/order management team within a leading supplier of process equipment to the manufacturing industry. Reporting to the Operations manager you will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction thereby directly contributing to the sales objectives of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, organise and motivate the team on a day to day basis
Work as an integral part of the team in handling key sales jobs and key accounts
Continuously review processes and systems to ensure the continuous effective and efficient functioning of the team
Ensure visibility and effective management of daily workflow within office to deliver optimal quality of service to both customers and clients
Employ effective communication processes to keep management informed of the functioning of the dept, including reviewing and analysing performance; summarising pertinent information; identifying actions required
Accountable for the implementation of HR policies and procedures
Developing and communicating clear career paths, for team members to ensure individual’s growth and progression within the organisation
Ensure retention of team through effective coaching, mentorship, and motivation of employees


Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar position
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead; motivate and develop a Team
Strong analytical, reporting and numeracy skills
Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation
Ability to work on own initiative and take the clear lead from Group Operations Manager and other senior management as required
Excellent organisational skills, capable of handling multiple projects, shifting priorities and handling deadline pressures
